Emily
Finds what's trending, then turns it into a new video — every night, unattended.
The problem
Keeping a short-form video channel fed with fresh content every day doesn't scale by hand — someone has to constantly scout what's working, write a script inspired by it without copying it, and produce a video, day after day.
The solution
Emily runs the whole loop by itself every night: it scouts trending Instagram Reels and YouTube videos from a set of reference accounts, ranks them by how fast they're growing, transcribes the best-performing ones, writes an original script from that evidence, generates a finished video with AI, and delivers it — with an automatic alert if anything in the pipeline fails.
- 01Scheduled scouting: every night, the pipeline pulls recent posts from a set of reference Instagram and YouTube accounts.
- 02Trend ranking: content is ranked by recency and growth velocity, not just raw view count, so it catches what's rising, not just what's already big.
- 03Transcription: the top-performing pieces are transcribed automatically to extract what's actually being said.
- 04Script generation: an AI writes a new, original script inspired by that evidence — not a copy of it.
- 05Video generation: the script becomes a finished video through an AI video generation step.
- 06Delivery and logging: the finished video lands in Drive and the run is logged to a spreadsheet, with an email alert if generation fails.
The result
Runs unattended every night and produces a ready-to-review video from that day's trending content — turning a manual, daily content-scouting job into something that just shows up in the morning.
